  • Accepted an invitation from the Washington, DC-based Constituency for Africa (CFA) and participated in their Ronald H. Brown African Affairs Series and moderated the workshop Doing Business with Africa at the US Department of Commerce.
  • A visiting scholar with the African Development Bank in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Observed and researched their activities on the African debt crisis.

Participated in the AFEA’s African Capital Markets Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, and delivered a major address on the Role of Capital Markets in Economic Development
